Thursday November 22
8:00 pm USC (-3, 49) at Arizona St. - Obviously, the oddsmakers are taking Arizona seriously, though USC has only lost one game with John David Booty as their starting QB, that being their stunning upset at the hands of Stanford, 24-23. The Trojans have much to prove to a league of doubters and will likely answer all the questions with a win that will resonate into the bowl season.
Prediction: Trojans 38 Sun Devils 28
Friday, November 23
2:30 pm Arkansas at LSU (-12, 59) - LSU has already clinched the SEC West, but at 10-1 they are looking for bigger things, like a national championship. Arkansas, at 7-4, may be one of a handful of SEC teams going to bowl games in a month, but they're no match for the poised and proud Tigers.
Prediction: Tigers 44 Razorbacks 23
3:30 pm Texas (-5 1/2, 60 1/2) at Texas A&M - Last season, Colt McCoy and the Longhorns were ambushed 12-7 by the Aggies, but that's unlikely to happen again. Texas comes in at 9-2 with the possibility of playing for the Big 12 title if Oklahoma stumbles on Saturday. A&M has not impressed of late, having lost three straight, all to ranked opposition. Well, Texas is ranked and ready and should make an impression here.
Prediction: Longhorns 31 Aggies 21
In its most recent games, Hawaii beat Fresno State by a TD two weeks ago and last week squeaked by Nevada, 28-26. Teams are beginning to figure out Hawaii, and that spells trouble for their undefeated season and potential BCS bid. This should be one of the more entertaining games of a great college football weekend.
Prediction: Broncos 38 Rainbow Warriors 35
Saturday, November 24
12:00 pm Virginia Tech (-3 1/2, 39) at Virginia - The Cavaliers have put together an exceptional season, pulling out wins in 5 games by a total of 7 points (yep, that's not a typo). However, the Hokies are a different kind of animal and comes in with a three game win streak and an overall 9-2 record. The winner will play next week in the ACC Championship game.
Prediction: Hokies 28 Cavaliers 17
1:30 pm Tennessee at Kentucky (-3, 63 1/2) - Very surprising to see Kentucky favored here, even though they are at home. Since upsetting LSU back in October, the Wildcats have lost 3 of 4 and looked less-than-effective on offense while stumbling badly on defense. Tennessee can clinch a spot in the SEC championship game, and they'll be on the muscle for a big beat-down here. The Vols are much more physical and will overpower the Wildcats on both sides of the ball.
Prediction: Volunteers 35 Wildcats 20
