College Football Week 13 Top 25

Fearless Rick's College Football Week 13 Picks - Late Games

Rick Gagliano | November 22-24

All times Eastern - Click here for early games.

3:30 pm Oregon (-1, 50 1/2) at UCLA - Without Dennis Dixon at quarterback, the Ducks are walking wounded and Brady Leaf will not provide enough as backup to win this important road game. The Bruins have had an up-and-down season, but will relish in knocking off the wounded Ducks.

Prediction: Bruins 24 Ducks 21

3:30 pm Oklahoma St. at Oklahoma (-11, 67) - Redshirt freshman quarterback Sam Bradford, who suffered a concussion in last week's loss at Texas Tech, will likely get the start for the Sooners, but they are pretty decimated by injuries, which means that the Cowboys, who look forward to this game all season, are catching their in-state rivals at just the right time. They will have added incentive in that by winning, they will keep Oklahoma out of the Big 12 title game.

Prediction: Cowboys 37 Sooners 31

3:30 pm Georgia (-3 1/2, 46) at Georgia Tech - The Yellow Jackets may have four losses, but that doesn't mean they won't have an extra lick in them for their arch-rival, Georgia. The Bulldogs, being that this is not a conference game, have no control over their fate in the SEC. Should Tennessee win earlier in the day, their attitude could change completely. Either way, Tech has home field and a hunger to win.

Prediction: Yellow Jackets 21 Bulldogs 17

3:30 pm Connecticut at West Virginia (-17 1/2, 50 1/2) - This one's for all the marbles in the Big East, and while the Huskies aren't getting any respect, they should. The Mountaineers will probably win this one, but not by as big a margin as most expect. Look for UConn to control the clock with their fierce rushing attack and keep it close enough t cover.

Prediction: Mountaineers 31 Huskies 24

5:00 pm Florida St. at Florida (-14, 57 1/2) - The Gators have three losses, but they've outscored their last three opponents by a combined 159-73. The Seminoles are sporting a 7-4 record and one of the best defenses in the nation. If they can contain Tim Tebow, they have an excellent chance of winning their season finale and improving their bowl prospects. Look for them to come through.

Prediction: Seminoles 28 Gators 24

8:00 pm Missouri at Kansas (-2, 68 1/2) - Here we have a game with national significance. The winner will find a place in the Big 12 Championship game against either Oklahoma or Texas. While Missouri has an offense full of flash and dash, the Jayhawks can play defense with anyone. This one should be closely contested until the end, but Kansas will find a way late and remain undefeated. If Hawaii loses on Friday, they would be the only undefeated team in Division 1-A.

Prediction: Jayhawks 41 Tigers 38

8:00 pm Alabama at Auburn (-6, 45) - Alabama fans aren't happy about last week's loss to Louisiana-Monroe or any of the Crimson Tide's five losses. In reality, it's a rebuilding year for them, and that will be realized by all in attendance at this year's version of the Iron Bowl. Auburn hasn't had trouble with anyone except ranked teams, and Alabama is not. They have the horses and home field. Look for a smash-up win.

Prediction: Tigers 42 Crimson Tide 13
