Sunday, Nov. 11

Cincinnati at Baltimore (-4 1/2, 44 1/2) 4:05 pm - The Bengals are playing pretty poorly and may be without the services of Chad Johnson, who suffered a head injury in last week's loss to Buffalo. Cincy won the first meeting this year, in Week 1, 27-20, but even as poorly as the Ravens are playing, there's little chance that Cincy can sweep. Baltimore is still somewhat in the hunt at 4-4, but this game becomes a must win. Ravens must keep the turnovers down and rely on their defense to win.

Prediction: Ravens 20 Bengals 14

Chicago (-3, 38 1/2) at Oakland 4:15 pm - The Bears had a bye last week while the Raiders were losing, 24-17, to Houston. Oakland's 4 straight losses don't bode well for them here, though the Bears are also in struggle mode. At 3-5, Chicago is likely not going to make the playoffs, but they are a better team than the Raiders and hopefully, most of the offense will show up here.

Prediction: Bears 17 Raiders 10

Dallas (-1, 49) at N.Y. Giants 4:15 pm - A rematch from week 1, won by the Cowboys, 45-35. Both teams are red hot, with the Giants having won 6 straight and a game back of 7-1 Dallas. New York's improved secondary should take a few of Tony Romo's passes away, and Eli Manning could have a huge game against a very suspect Dallas defense.

Prediction: Giants 38 Cowboys 28

IDetroit at Arizona (-1, 45) 4:15 pm - The Lions are taking no prisoners, especially since the defense found its footing (30 points allowed in the last 3 games, all wins). The Cardinals are playing well enough to keep this one close, but the line says Detroit will win by at least a field goal.

Prediction: Lions 30 Cardinals 24

Indianapolis (-3 1/2, 48 1/2) at San Diego 8:15 pm - Very nice matchup on paper, but notice that the Chargers are just 4-4 and in need of a win. It's not going to happen. Indy was close to knocking off New England last week and are about as dominant a team one can find. Tough spot for the Chargers.

Prediction: Colts 28 Chargers 21

Monday, Nov. 12

San Francisco at Seattle (-10, 39 1/2) 8:30 pm - Not a very good choice for Monday night, though the Seahawks seem to have found their offense after the bye week, though the defense still has a way to go. The NFC West may go to a team with less than 9 wins this season, and it looks like Seattle will win it again. San Fran has really hit the skids, scoring only 13 ppg. They should be able to improve upon that number, though not enough to win. 49ers keep it close, ruining the night for favorite bettors.

Prediction: Seahawks 21 49ers 17

Open date: Houston, New England, N.Y. Jets, Tampa Bay
