With over 60% of Americans now owning real property, home improvement suppliers like Lowe's and Home Depot have tapped the raw nerve of the do-it-yourself craze. Beyond that, contractors who will perform everything from lawn care and maintenance to roofing, siding, additions and general upkeep.
