Chapter 2 - Opie Kidnapped

Visions Chapter 1, The Guy in the Hotel Room, the Nightclub, Barry Manilow and the Book

OK, this is kind of sketchy, but I'll put it together as best I can.

There's a guy in a hotel room who has performed unspeakably evil murders, like mutilation or worse. He's very bad and we - that would be me and the blonde woman (I don't have a name for her, but I expect her to tell me the next time I have a dream) - know that he's a scary guy and needs to be eliminated, like killed, which is all a part of this and the entire strangeness about these visions, because people actually die in these dreams, and it's pretty vivid stuff.

So, the blonde lady confronts this guy in a hotel room. It's more of a motel actually with the halls on the outside of the building, but she's very fast, like the flash, and she can really zip around at high speeds without too much effort. Come to think of it, so can I, on foot, mind you, though it's not like running, but more like just gliding. We don't actually run or fly, we just move from one place to another really, really fast - and we leave these really cool, color trails. Kind of a nice feature.

Anyhow, she has problems with this guy, like she can't do him in because he's too strong or she's not strong enough, so she calls me in, and I can't do anything with the guy because I don't actually know enough, though I'm pretty confident that I can wipe him off the face of the planet pretty easily, I need to see this book, and it's the strangest thing, because it's just a book of city building codes, but I guess the code is all written in code, because when I open the book all manner of "holy crap" comes leaping off the pages, like musical notes in a Disney movie, and they're all kinds of deep, hidden secrets and truths, so I close the book up really fast and keep all that stuff inside.

When I was looking at this book, I was up on a hill, and the guy who gave me the book was wearing overalls, like an auto mechanic would wear, but green. He was pretty friendly and seemed to know what was going on and he had a good laugh when I opened the book and let all the words out, but he let me keep the book, though I didn't know exactly what to do with it, only that it was full of some really important stuff that I shouldn't let fall into the wrong hands. And it had the numbers on it, 3-4-1, which I still don't know anything about.

So, I've got the book and the next thing I know is I'm just relaxing, hanging out with the two women. The dark-haired one (Madeline?) gets a phone call and she says something about her husband and a Barry Manilow concert and invites the other lady. And I'm waiting, thinking, "boy, isn't she going to invite me?" and she asks if I'd like to come out with them to this nightclub, and I tell her it would be the best because I'd be with the two most wonderful women in the world.

The women get a pretty good giggle over that, and we are supposed to go out.
