Fearless Rick's 2016 College Football Picks - Week 10 late games
All times Eastern
4:00 pm Arizona at Washington State (-17, 66) - Arizona has been pummeled by five different PAC-12 teams while the Cougars have won all five of their conference games, making this one of the more obvious potential blowouts of the week.
Coin Flip: Washington State
Rick's Pick: Cougars 54 Wildcats 17
The OT loss to Clemson may have taken the wind from the sails for NC State and the Seminoles are anything but easy. They lost to Clemson, 37-34, at home last week, so the Wolfpack may be catching them at a most opportune time.
Coin Flip: Florida State
Rick's Pick: Wolfpack 30 Seminoles 27
The Nittany Lions, after six years of being in the doghouse due to various scandals and sanctions, seems to have finally emerged from the shadows and is a team to be feared any time they step onto the gridiron. Their two losses were to Michigan and, earlier, Pitt (42-39), but they also pulled off the upset of the year with a 24-21 win over Ohio State two weeks ago. Penn State, not resting on its laurels, followed that effort up with a 62-24 demolition of Purdue in Boilermaker country.
If the Lions are true, they should romp all over their guests.
Coin Flip: Penn State
Rick's Pick: Nittany Lions 38 Hawkeyes 24
Coin Flip: Ohio State
Rick's Pick: Cornhuskers 24 Buckeyes 21
People can say what they like about the significance of home field for this game, but it isn't likely to matter. Alabama is a hammer and LSU nothing but a bag of nails.
Coin Flip: Alabama
Rick's Pick: Crimson Tide 38 Tigers 16

WEEK 10 NCAA Footall Picks - late games
7:00 pm Florida State (-5 1/2, 58) at NC State - The Wolfpack should hire another scheduler, because theirs is one of the toughest in college football. After knocking off Notre Dame, 10-3, attracting the attention of the national sporting press, they promptly lost at Clemson, at Louisville, and then, last week tossed up a real stinker, losing at home to Boston College, 21-14.
7:30 pm Iowa at Penn State (-7, 53) - Iowa was the hot pick in the Big Ten earlier in the season, but their 5-3 mark overall and 3-2 record in the conference isn't all that convincing.
8:00 pm Nebraska at Ohio State (-17, 52) - Simply put, the Buckeyes are good, but not great. Nebraska is a very competitive team that can potentially spring the upset. 17 points looks pretty good for a team that's 7-1 and just lost it's first game of the season last week, 23-17 in overtime at Wisconsin.
8:00 pm Alabama (-7, 45 1/2) at LSU - This is usually a great game, as the two teams have battled over the past 10-12 years for dominance in the SEC en route to a shot at a national championship. As LSU has stumbled badly this season, the game may or may not live up to the hype as #1 Alabama has continued to roll over opponents of all stripes and appears to be on a clear path toward another SEC title and possibly another national championship.
