Kansas City at Oakland (-1, 46 1/2), 4:05 pm (CBS) - After winning there expected shootout in San Diego last week (but not covering the excessive 4 1/2-point spread), the Raiders are poised to knock off a highly-touted, but underperforming divisional foe.

Coming off a bye week, the Chiefs were last seen two Sundays ago, being spanked at Pittsburgh by the Steelers, 43-14. Otherwise, they are a 2-2 team with a 19-12 loss at Houston, a 33-27 OT win against the Chargers and a 24-3 stomping of the Jets at home, their only decisive win.

0-2 on the road against a revitalized Raider team? Nope.

Coin Flip: Kansas City

Prediction: Raiders 34 Chiefs 27

Dallas at Green Bay (-4, 47), 4:25 pm (FOX) - This won't be Bart Starr vs. Roger Staubach, but the game may take on epic proportions as both squads are in the hunt for their respective division crowns. Dallas owns first place in the NFC East with a 4-1 mark and has done nothing wrong this season. The 3-1 Packers are chasing the 5-0 Vikings, but Aaron Rodgers hasn't been himself thus far in the season.

The Dallas defense should keep Rodgers under wraps and improve to 5-1 in a rare Lambeau Field upset.

Coin Flip: Green Bay

Prediction: Cowboys 26 Packers 20

Atlanta at Seattle (-6, 46), 4:25 pm (FOX) - One word for the Seahawks this season: Overrated. One word for the Falcons: Winning.

Coin Flip: Seattle

Prediction: Falcons 27 Seahawks 17

Indianapolis at Houston (-3, 46), 8:30 pm (NBC) - An AFC South meeting which should go a long way toward determining the ultimate division winner, though neither team has displayed any kind of spark that might lead one to believe they'll go anywhere in the playoffs.

Houston's disappointing showing against both New England and last week at Minnesota are telling signs that this offense is not ready for prime time. Last season, the Colts won at Houston, 27-20, while the Texans took down the Colts in Indianapolis, later in the year, 16-10. This appears to be a coming out party for the Colts if their defense can make some stops or the Houston offense self-destructs.

Coin Flip: Indianapolis

Prediction: Colts 28 Texans 14

Monday, October 17

NY Jets at Arizona (-7 1/2, 47), 8:30 pm (ESPN) - Sorry, coin-flipping proponents, but the Jets are flying upside down as long as they keep Ryan Fitzpatrick at quarterback. Even though the Cardinals may be without the services of Carson Palmer again this week, Drew Stanton - with a win and another week of work with the #1 offense - isn't much of a fall-off.

The Cardinal defense will also have much to do with what should be a one-sided outcome.

Coin Flip: NY Jets

Prediction: Cardinals 27 Jets 10
