Fearless Rick's NFL Football Picks - Week 4 late games
All times Eastern
Denver (-3, 44) at Tampa Bay, 4:05 (CBS) - The Broncos are doing everything they need to in defense of their title from last season and a trip to Tampa Bay isn't likely to change that tune.
The Buccaneers have allowed a league-high 101 points over their first three games, amazingly winning one of them, their opener, a 31-24 win at Atlanta. Since then they've allowed 40 at Arizona and 37 at home to the Rams last week. This one could get ugly right away.
Coin Flip: Tampa Bay
Prediction: Broncos 31 Buccaneers 12
Right now, it's the Rams at 2-1 and the 1-2 Cardinals looking up at them and the Seahawks, so one would think that Arizona should be prepared to stomp out the upstarts from LA. Think again. It's early.
Coin Flip: Los Angeles
Prediction: Rams 20 Cardinals 17
Coin Flip: San Diego
Prediction: Chargers 42 Saints 31
Coin Flip: San Francisco
Prediction: Cowboys 25 49ers 16
In a game of near equals, grab the generous point spread in a prime time game the Chiefs can definitely win.
Coin Flip: Pittsburgh
Prediction: Chiefs 27 Steelers 20
NY Giants at Minnesota (-4, 43), 8:30 (ESPN) - The NFL might actually have come up with a good contest, although the Giants are quite questionable as a post-season contender.
Minnesota is surely a team to watch, having beaten Green Bay and Carolina in consecutive weeks. Sam Bradford has been amazingly accurate and mistake-free as the Vikes improved to 3-0. Chalk up another win for the team nobody seems able to beat. Their defense is among the best in the league.
Coin Flip: NY Giants
Prediction: Vikings 31 Giants 13

WEEK 4 NFL Picks- late games
Los Angeles at Arizona (-7 1/2, 43), 4:25 (FOX) - The Rams are riding high after their 37-32 win at Tampa Bay, improving to 2-1, including a divisional win over Seattle and they may have caught the Cardinals at the right time, flying back from Buffalo sporting a 33-18 loss.
New Orleans at San Diego (-3 1/2, 53 1/2), 4:25 (FOX) - It's over for the Saints and Drew Brees. The chances of making the playoffs after an 0-3 start - thanks to Monday night's 45-32 home loss to the Falcons - are about 5%, and they are on the road against a team that still feels it has life, the 1-2 Chargers. Phillip Rivers vs. Drew Brees generally means a high score, so we'll go with that and the Chargers winning going away as New Orleans has allowed 96 points its first three games.
Dallas (-3, 46) at San Francisco, 4:25 (FOX) - Having won two straight after a season-opening loss to the Giants, the Cowboys are becoming a real sleeper in the NFC East, along with the 3-0 Eagles, who are idle this week. Dallas can get a leg up with a road win against a team that seems to be going backwards.
Kansas City at Pittsburgh (-6, 47 1/2), 8:30 (NBC) - Aghast were Steeler fans viewing the complete domination by the Eagles in last week's 34-3 blowout in Philly. Meanwhile, the Chiefs were tearing up the Jets to the tune of 24-3, so how does that make the Steelers nearly a six point favorite.
