Week 10 Results: Rick 2-15; Coin: 7-10
7:30 pm North Carolina at #21 Pittsburgh (-6 1/2, 73) - Already proven last week in its 58-55 win over Wake Forest, the Tar Heel offense can be unstoppable. Pittsburgh has been beaten by three points, twice this season - their only losses - by Western Michigan and Miami, both at home.
Coin Flip: Pittsburgh
Prediction: Tar Heels 49 Panthers 45
6:00 pm #5 Cincinnati (-23 1/2, 58) at South Florida - Though they are just 2-7, South Florida has a future with freshman QB Timmy McClain. Sure, Cincinnati will win the game, most likely, but the Bulls have home losses of 22, 1, and 12 points, plus, two wins.
Coin Flip: South Florida
Prediction: Bearcats 38 Bulls 19
12:00 pm #6 Michigan (-1, 48 1/2) at Penn State - Wolverine defense showed up last week in 29-7 rout of Indiana, while Penn State (3-3 conf.) has only scored more than 24 points against Big 10 opponents once (Maryland). Michigan looking at Ohio State in two weeks, needs a win here and will deliver.
Coin Flip: Michigan
Prediction: Wolverines 27 Nittany Lions 22
The Bears haven't beaten the Sooners since 2014, so don't look for them to do so this season.
Coin Flip: Baylor
Prediction: Sooners 44 Bears 31
The Bulldogs are in somewhat the same predicament, (5-4, 3-3), and could use a win. Their 49-9 loss to Alabama was a throwaway game, but three-point losses to LSU and Arkansas show they can play with most of the SEC regulars.
Coin Flip: Mississippi State
Prediction: Bulldogs 26 Tigers 21
9-0 Georgia looks completely unbeatable. The most any team has scored against them is 13 points (Kentucky, South Carolina), and they've scored 30 or more in eight straight games. If the Vols can score 21, they'll cover.
Coin Flip: Tennessee
Prediction: Georgia 38 Volunteers 21
Ohio State's offense was slowed down by Penn State and Nebraska the past two weeks, though the Buckeyes won both games. Purdue's offense can click enough to possibly upset.
Coin Flip: Ohio State
Prediction: Buckeyes 35 Boilermakers 28
Coin Flip: Maryland
Prediction: Spartans 31 Terrapins 13

12:00 pm #8 Oklahoma (-5 1/2, 62 1/2) at #13 Baylor - Scoring at a rate of 42.9 points per game, the Sooners have the #5 offense in the country, but aren't getting much love from the playoff committee at #8 in the rankings. Scoring 36.3 per game, Baylor assures that there will be little defense in this clash of Big 12 opponents.
12:00 pm Mississippi State at #17 Auburn (-5 1/2, 50) - QB Bo Nix and the Auburn Tigers disappointed badly in last week's 20-3 loss at Texas A&M. They are 6-3 overall, 3-2 in the SEC and will get to a bowl game, though it's likely not to be a major one.
3:30 pm #1 Georgia (-21, 57) at Tennessee - The fans will be rowdy at Rocky Top when the #1 Bulldogs visit. At 5-4, the Vols don't need a win against the Bulldogs to make it to a bowl game (South Alabama and Vanderbilt next opponents), so they may just let their offense rip. Tennessee topped Kentucky on the road last week, 45-42, but don't expect them to score nearly that many against the #1 Georgia defense (6.6 ppg).
3:30 pm #19 Purdue at #4 Ohio State (-20, 62) - Can the 6-3 Boilermakers deliver another upset special? They've downed Iowa and Michigan State, now looking for a big number against the Buckeyes. Purdue hasn't won three straight this season, so not counting on a win here, but a cover is highly possible.
4:00 pm #7 Michigan State (-13, 61 1/2) at Maryland - Terrapins suffering from LOD (Lack of Defense) which will cost them dearly to invading Spartans looking to forget last week's tough, 40-29, loss to Purdue. Look for Michigan State to control the clock and the scoreboard.
