Baltimore Ravens (-8 1/2, 46 1/2) at Miami Dolphins 8:20 pm - Ravens got a 34-31 win in OT over the Vikings last week, finishing off four straight home games. Now they embark on four of their next five on the road, though the opposition isn't too tough this week.
Miami dusted Houston, 17-9, and should make a good showing on national TV.
Coin Flip: Baltimore
Prediction: Ravens 30 Dolphins 24
Atlanta Falcons at Dallas Cowboys (-9, 54 1/2) 1:00 pm - Surprising possibly even themselves, the Falcons have won three of their last four and are now even at 4-4. Dallas was ambushed in their house by Denver, in a crushing, 30-16 loss. The Cowboys have a huge lead in the NFC East of 3 1/2 games over the Eagles and Giants, both 3-6. Since they don't need the game and the Falcons do, expect a late score to swing this Atlanta's way and maybe even win it.
Coin Flip: Dallas
Prediction: Falcons 26 Cowboys 23
The Colts have a terrific defense and the offense was clicking last week as they ran by the Jets, 45-30. Colts are good at beating weaker teams. Jaguars fit the bill.
Coin Flip: Indianapolis
Prediction: Colts 24 Jaguars 17
Coin Flip: New England
Prediction: Browns 27 Patriots 22
Coin Flip: Buffalo
Prediction: Jets 27 Bills 20
Steelers are breathing fire, though not necessarily on defense, as exhibited in nearly blowing their game against Chicago last week, slipping by with a 29-27 win, their fourth straight. Would surprise nobody if the Lions covered. UPDATE: Roethlisberger OUT with CV-19.
Coin Flip: Detroit
Prediction: Steelers 28 Lions 23
Coin Flip: New Orleans
Prediction: Saints 24 Titans 20
Coin Flip: Tampa Bay
Prediction: Buccaneers 31 Football Team 6

Jacksonville Jaguars at Indianapolis Colts (-10 1/2, 47 1/2) 1:00 pm - Jacksonville's improbable 9-6 win over the Bills last week was their first win on American soil since week one of 2020. Thanks to a 23-20 win over Miami in London, the Jags are now 2-6, and about to go 2-7.
Cleveland Browns at New England Patriots (-2 1/2, 45) 1:00 pm - Both teams are up and down with 5-4 records, but the Brownies seem to be overall a better team top to bottom. Given that the spread is very thin, look for Cleveland's defense to secure a victory with a game-ending stand.
Buffalo Bills (-13, 47 1/2) at NY Jets 1:00 pm - As much as some people would like to believe the Bills will win the Super Bowl, they've never done it, but they have to find a running game soon or forget advancing in the playoffs. The Jets are the up-and-coming team in the NFL. They'll cover and maybe even upend the visiting Bills.
Detroit Lions at Pittsburgh Steelers (-6, 42 1/2) 1:00 pm - Not much love in the former Mo-town, with an 0-8 record hung on the Lions, now sporting a 12-game losing streak back to last season. The trade of Matthew Stafford for Jared Goff has really turned out well for the Rams.
New Orleans Saints at Tennessee Titans (-3, 44 1/2) 1:00 pm - No Derrick Henry, no problem. The Titans went out to LA and stuffed the Rams, 28-16, for their fifth straight win. The Saints were outplayed by division foe, Atlanta, which was odd, coming right on the heels of New Orleans' victory over the Bucs the week prior. Tough call, but the Saints may just find enough offense to put it to the Titans.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-10, 51 1/2) at Washington Football Team, 1:00 pm - When you're 2-6, called "football team" and hosting the reigning champs, that's a problem. Washington has lost four straight, scoring, 22, 13, 10, and 10. Buccaneers may reduce that to 7 or less.
